Something very simlar happened to be in high school, only they were smart enough to move everyone to an arena next to the school. Wanna know how the guy got caught? He posted it on Facebook!
So ya, I can relate.

I'm actually scared of a Mega Electrode now D:

The animation was alright, but I don't get it. Sure Fairy beats Dragon now, but why did everyone just die?

I remember watching this on YouTube, still really good.
And you say it was acknowledged by them, you mind telling me where or giving me a link please?

Gregzilla responds:

Jon tweeted it, Arin added it to his favorites on YouTube, someone showed it to Barry on twitter, and I think Grant saw it on twitter as well.

Okay, to get it out of they way first, problems I noticed with the battle
-Absol cannot learn the move Air Cutter
-even though Physhock had no effect Houndoom. little damage was still taken
-the move Electroweb lowers the foes speed when it hits
-the move Scratch dose not have a high Critical ratio, you may be thinking of the move Slash, which Joltik can know by now as it learns it at level 26
I know these are little things that don't effect much, but I thought I'd let know you anyway

It's great to see that you even adding some flash animations into this series now, it gives it a nice touch and let's us see the character's expressions more clearly. And I love how Gardevoir get's jealous over about girls around Teejay. And it looks like you decided to replace Seadra with a Tirtouga, not sure why but unless Seadra would evolve into Kingdra, I think it was good call.

As always Teejay I enjoyed the episode, and I am most excited to see where the story goes and how the relationship travels with TJ and Gardevoir.

teejay-number13 responds:

Thanks for pointing those things out. I'll try to explain:
-I try to follow the game on what they can and con't learn, but in the end I have final say.
-How much HP did he lose? Was it 1? Because the variables are set to numbers, a drift of 1 or 2 may happen.
-As far as status effects of some moves, the more I add, the more code the game requires and that means more potential bugs. But I add more things each episode, so I'll try to get those next time.
-I think it was originally slash, but I changed it to scratch. Guess I forgot to fix the button.

Teejay will get a Seadra, but it will be later in the series. I decided to add them to the final credits scene as he got them.

only 1 problem I noticed with the battles this time
-the move Toxic spikes dose not disappear after it poisons a Pokemon, the only way it's can be removed is if it's absorbed by a poison Pokemon or the move rapid spin or defog
that's the only problem I noticed, so the battle system is near perfected
the voices seemed to have improved and Jay's voice really fit his character. I see that Machop has evolved, in the simulator I presume. I would've liked to see him evolve though but that's just me.
so once again great work Teejay, it's not everyday I find someone who's dedicated to his/her series as much as this
... oh and i noticed you used my sprite as a trainer that went to Cinnibar island, thanks ^_^

teejay-number13 responds:

Doh. Another minor detail about Toxic Spikes that I missed. And your welcome about your sprite. I plan on using most of the sprites from my contest for small cameos throughout the series.

funny

good animation, voices, and good humor
but one question, why doesn't Pikachu have a tail?

PostTimeskipSam responds:

Much thanks and I completely forgot about his tail. I just realized it.

a big step up

i'll admit, when i first heard you were going to add voices i was kind of skeptical about it, because the quality of voices and the actors affect it dramatically, but the actors here did a good job and i'm happy for that.

the interactive battles is a great new feature but there are some problems(nothing major) i noticed, call me picky but i feel like i should point them out
- the text boxes in some parts are still too small to hold the full number
-the moves Bulldoze and Rockslide hits BOTH opposing pokemon and magnitude affects all pokemon but the user
-the burn affect cuts the pokemons attack in half(although i'm pretty sure the Gallade fight is meant to beat you in one hit anyways)
-potions and other healing items are used before any pokemon uses an attack
-the move charge not only powers up the next electric attack but also raises special defense
ya ya i know i'm a nerd for knowing all this but i don't care

to wrap this up, i will say i am enjoying this series, your improving with your skills, and i look forward to see the rest

... also i hope my gym leader gets in :)

teejay-number13 responds:

-I assume your talking about the dynamic text boxes that tell the HP and stuff. I increased their size from the beta version so I don't know why that keeps happening. Works fine on my comps.
-I didn't know about rockslide hitting both. I'll remeber that. As far as moves that hit your ally, I think I'll leave the friendly fire out.
-I din't know burn was supposed to cut attack in half. Yeah, that fight was more of a mini game to earn a medal. The outcome will be the same.
-Yeah I programmed the potions to be used in place of Emboars or Gigalith regular moves. I fix that next time.
-Yeah, I know about charge raising special defense, but my damage equation doesn't factor in that stat.

Thanks for the tips.
